Weekday Preschool
Who We Are
We believe that each child is a unique gift from God. We strive to provide an engaging curriculum with meaningful center based activities that support a child as they investigate the world around them. We believe that play is a source of learning independence and confidence. We challenge children to explore their interests, acquire knowledge, and build new skills while intentionally creating opportunities to know God’s love and prepare for kindergarten.
SBC Kids Preschool is a non-profit program of Summerland Baptist Church that has been serving children for over 20 years. Children 4 years old (born in 2022 and entering Kindergarten the following year) are welcome to register for morning classes, three days a week (M/W/F) from Sept 14th 2026 to June 11th 2027. Class runs from 9am – 12pm.
Due to low registration this year, we are now accepting registrations for children who are turning 4 in Jan/Feb 2027.
All children must be toilet-trained (no diaper or pull ups).
Please read through our SBCKids Preschool Parent Handbook (see below) for information about our policies and fees.
If you have any questions about preschool, please contact our teacher (Jennifer Dykstra) at jennifer@summerlandbaptist.ca
Registration is open.
Next Fall……
Starting Sept 2027, SBCKids Preschool will be offering classes 5 days a week. 9am to 12pm.
